3 Podcast Recommendations For a Healthier Life

01.06.2022

It is true that our days pass by hustle and bustle. Yet we are still lucky to be living in the digital age, so we have a resource that is available to us at any time, able to slow down the time and nourish us in each and every area: Podcast!

And with a content world that keeps growing and expanding with each passing day… In this digital world, Wellness is also featured as a subset. If you haven't had the chance to discover it yet, let us cite three wellness podcasts for healthy living. Actually, the following podcasts have been on the stage for a long while, but they’ve grown even more popular as the impacts of the pandemic have uncovered the true value of wellbeing and healthy living.

Food Psych:

Towards the end of 2020, “intuitive eating” philosophy, which embraces reading your body's internal signals on eating and hunger, began coming to the forefront. But the problem was that none of us knew exactly what this concept meant. At that point, Dietitian Christy Harrison's podcast titled Food Psych  has come to our aid. In her podcast, she gets to the core of the reasons why we should all stick to intuitive eating and why it is so interconnected with a healthier body image and self-confidence. According to Christy, diet culture will soon be a thing of the past.

Hurdle:

Hurdle, launched in January 2018 by Emily Abbate, former fitness editor of SELF magazine, features topics related to health and wellness, as well as the world’s most influential people who have their own “handicaps” in life . Each chapter highlights why healthy living practices are the common thread in every success story. Hurdle aims to inspire us to achieve our goals without stressing over the obstacles that we may encounter along the way.

Nothing Much Happens:

Without enough sleep, no one can be expected to give their best, right? Our brain requires adequate and quality sleep to recharge. But what if one is not getting the sleep she needs and is struggling with insomnia? In answer, Kathryn Nicolai’s podcast Nothing Much Happens is  lending us her voice to help us return to the serenity of our childhood through her bedtime stories. Relying on her experience as a yoga and meditation instructor, Nicolai suggests that her stories, along with the images she invites us to visualize for better concentration, will enable calming our minds and bodies.

Hoping to meet you on the tranquil media devoted to the wellness..
