Aman Niseko, Japan

Aman Niseko, the first and only destination wellness retreat on conserved Mount Moiwa with enchanting forests, will open with 30 rooms and 31 residences, each inspired by the hospitable ryokan culture. Besides the indoor and outdoor onsen also existing in its residences, the Spa will feature Finnish saunas, Watsu rooms, pools with mountain views and extensive thermal areas, and will introduce us to the most mystical Japanese healing methods, from Anma to Shiatsu, Zen meditation to tea rituals, as part of its holistic wellness experiences throughout the year.


Auberge Susurros del Corazón, Mexico

Opening this November, the resort's Onda Spa will open in early 2023. Inspired in its name and experiences by the calming and healing energy of the deep blue Pacific, the Spa will offer signature wave treatments in 11 treatment rooms, as well as many healing activities focused on finding joy in well-being, including sunrise meditations, elemental dances, sound baths and heart chakra opening ceremonies. The sensorial excursion, allowing us to enjoy the extraordinary symphonies of humpback whales up close, is another experience not to be missed.


Banyan Tree Ilha Caldeira, Mozambique

In the seclusion of its private island overlooking the Indian Ocean, Banyan Tree which will serve with a 40-pool villa concept, takes into its core the undiscovered exoticism of nature. The Spa has facilities such as infinity and hydrotherapy pools, and blends the power of the island's water and earth elements in its signature Asian treatments using natural local ingredients. The fully solar-powered hotel also features yoga and fitness pavilions, a water sports center and the Marine Conservation Center, offering scuba diving experiences into preserved coral and marine life.


Four Seasons Naviva Punto Mita, Mexico

With 15 lodging tents hidden deep in the jungle next to the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita and stretching out to the Pacific Ocean, this nature retreat is dedicated to creating a sense of home in nature rather than a resort. Signature experiences, each designed exclusively for Naviva, include a personalized temazcal ceremony in the House of Heat that promises a gratitude-filled transformation, guided night time forest bathing under the stars, half-day holistic rituals in the cocoon-like Sanctuary Retreat, and a soul-nourishing Shamanic Sound Journey.


Kimpton Naranta, Bali

Opening in early 2023, Kimpton Bali is a boutique coastal retreat that reinterprets Nusa Dua life, in untouched wilderness with a sense of unfettered comfort. The 50 villas have views of Maj Valley, Mount Agung or the Indian Ocean, and many include saltwater plunge pools. Samskara Wellness, where ancient Balinese rituals meet modern healing techniques, promises to indulge us spa-goers with rejuvenating care experiences. And thanks to the hotel’s exclusive access to the award-winning Bali National Golf Club situated close by, it’s sure to win the hearts of golf enthusiasts, too.


Mandarin Oriental Costa Navarino, Greece

Mandarin Oriental Group’s first property in Greece will open in spring 2023 with 48 pool villas and 51 rooms on the historic Bay of Navarino in the Peloponnese. The 1,500-square-meter Away Spa and fitness center features a large indoor and outdoor pool that meets the Mediterranean Sea and various heat areas. The Spa’s signature therapies, flavored with local ingredients, can be enjoyed either in the treatment rooms or in the private beachfront pavilions. Unique outdoor activities such as bird watching in Gialova, where we can observe 271 species, also will allow us to connect with nature a bit more.


One & Only Aesthesis, Greece

Set to open on Athens Riviera, where the sapphire sea meets lavender fields, One & Only Aesthesis is as close to mythological ruins and the city center as it is to natural wonders. With 127 rooms, suites and pool villas, the resort will weave the charm of the Aegean into its texture and will be home to the Chenot Spa, which combines ancient Greek treatments with science-based health and beauty expertise as part of the Chenot Method. The retreat’s programs, including exceptional thermal healing experiences in Lake Vouliagmeni and excursions to the Acropolis, may make our journey even more sensual.


Six Senses Rome, Italy

Six Senses, which will offer 96 guest accommodations in its renovated UNESCO-protected building, is a 5-minute walk from the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon. The Spa will feature the group’s special areas like the Alchemy Bar and Biohacking room and offer signature Six Senses treatments in five treatment rooms. But that’s not all… Here, we can also take a day-spa journey in the Roman bath, a modern take on the region’s ancient healing practices, or experience invigorating activities such as hammam rituals enriched with healing herbs, a refreshing Cocoon treatment or aerial yoga.


Six Senses Vana, India

Vana, another venue that will combine the unique practices of Six Senses with the ancient therapies of the region, stretches among the salt tree reserves in the Mussoorie Region of India. Re-launched under the Six Senses brand, the “Forest” retreat invites us on a special and transformative journey in 2023 with focused signature programs such as Sleep with Six Senses, or the special Ayurvedic Panchakarma program, which re-explores Ayurvedic medicine in Six Senses style.


The Peninsula Istanbul, Turkey

Opening on February 14, 2023, Peninsula Istanbul is located on the shores of Galataport, combining history with art. The 177-room hotel, housed in renovated heritage buildings, will feature a 1,675-square-meter Spa and Wellness center with a 25-meter indoor swimming pool, hammams, thermal suite and eight treatment rooms. In addition to the refreshing treatments offered at the spa, guests will be able to experience in-room wellness programs that include self-care rituals such as guided meditation and aromatherapy thanks to the Spa’s ‘wellness portal’.


The St. Regis Kanai, Mexico

Located on the Mayan Riviera, St Regis Kanai features a dazzling silhouette with architecture inspired by the geometry of the local mangroves and the Pleiades constellation, revered as the celestial birthplace of the Mayans. The eco-conscious resort, which will occupy only the smallest fraction of its natural surroundings, will open in 2023 with a capacity of 156 guests, including 32 private pool-villas, along with the St Regis Spa, a combination of heat and cold wet areas. In eight treatment rooms, the Spa will offer us a wide range of treatments, from Ayurvedic rituals to massage classes, from scalp treatments to paraffin hand rituals.
